Donation and Renovation Updates
We have received an overwhelming amount of support and we can’t begin to express the gratitude and excitement we have for the future! Board members, Michelle and Noah, have pulled up the old floorboards in the home and started laying down new flooring! New floors are the first step in renovating the home we are preparing for future residents. Our goal is to provide a peaceful home that will stimulate healing and provide a place for the Lord to soften hearts and strengthen resolve towards the choice for sobriety.
At the request of some of you amazing champions for recovery, we have built an amazon list. In one short week $1,100 in needed items have been purchased. Additionally, we received 8 bibles, 4 bedspreads and a comforter!
We are excited to announce an update to our opening timeline, the home we will use for our residents will be vacated by family members of previous owners two months earlier than expected. While this is a great blessing in the way of productivity in preparing the home, it does come with additional unplanned overhead. We believe God will provide a way to raise a minimum of $1,500 by February 1st to cover the residential lease while we continue to make renovations. Please join us in prayer for this effort!
