What is God doing?

Sometimes when we step back and look around, the only question that comes to mind is: What is God doing?

Over the past months, we have watched something incredible unfold at Recovery House of Central Indiana. What started as an idea placed on our hearts has slowly taken shape into something real. Walls have been painted, floors cleaned, furniture moved in, and rooms prepared. With every small step of renovation, we are reminded that this house is being built for something far greater than just a place to live.

It is being prepared as a place for restoration.

For Noah and I, this journey is deeply personal. As people who have walked through recovery ourselves, we know how heavy the chains of addiction can feel. We also know the moment when hope begins to break through—when God starts doing something new in your life. That is what this house is about.

Every nail hammered, every room cleaned, and every bed prepared represents something bigger: a future for men who need a fresh start.

As we continue renovating and preparing to open, we are constantly reminded of this promise from scripture:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

This house is not just being renovated physically. It is being set apart for new beginnings, brotherhood, faith, and healing.

There is still work to be done. But we are watching God move through every step of this process—through the people who have volunteered, the donations that have come in, the prayers that have been spoken, and the doors that continue to open.

When we walk through the house now, it’s hard not to imagine the lives that will one day be changed here. Men gathering for prayer. Brothers encouraging each other in recovery. Testimonies of freedom replacing stories of struggle.

So when people ask what’s happening at the house lately, the best answer we have is simply this:

God is preparing something.

And we are grateful to be part of the work He is doing.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, prayed for, and believed in this mission.

We can’t wait to share the next chapter with you.
